Disconnect the lower latch pushrod (4) from the crank lug on the torque tube sections (Fig. 401).

Remove the bolts from the clamp (10) which attaches the torque tube section (2) to the torque tube section (3).

Put the clamp (10) back on the torque tube sections (2).

Remove the torque tube section (2).

Remove the bolts from the stop lever (15) which attaches the torque tube section (2) to the adapter (20).

Put the stop lever (15) back on the adapter (20).

Remove the adapter (20) from the actuator (1).

Remove the bolts (21) that hold the latch actuator (1) to the support bracket.
NOTE: Make sure you do not move the shims.
