Install a wooden strut between the door and body to keep the door in this position.
(b)
Lower the crane until you can disconnect the cables from the lift brackets.
(c)
Move the sling away from door and remove it the crane.
(d)
Remove the forward spreader beam from the sling and install it on crane.

(5) Lift the forward spreader beam with crane until you can attach the cables to the forward lift brackets.

Lift the nose cargo door to the fully open position and remove wooden strut.

Tighten nuts on the large hinge bolts 2000 to 2400 pound-inches.

Install the small hinge bolt.

Tighten nuts with your hand and then loosen them to the first castellation and install the cotter pins.

Connect the control pushrods to the hinge access doors (AMM

Remove the sling from the nose cargo door.

Remove the auxiliary door support.
(b)
Lower the door with the crane until the push-pull cam touches the rollers.

Remove sling from door.

Remove four lift brackets and install the countersink screws and plugs on the sling attachment points.

Connect the electrical bonding straps adjacent to the hinge fittings (AMM 20-11-14/701).

Connect the door electrical wires.
