SOLVENTS MAY BE FLAMMABLE OR HARMFUL TO THE
ENVIRONMENT. REFER TO PRODUCT MATERIAL SAFETY DATA
SHEETS (MSDS) AND LOCAL REQUIREMENTS FOR PROPER
HANDLING PROCEDURES.
2) Clean the parts with solvent, Series 92 (AMM 20-30-92).
NOTE: Use a plastic tool, if it is necessary, to remove
____ all the used sealant.
3) Add or remove shims until you get a 0.020- to 0.030-inch clearance between the forward guide roller ramp and guide roller with the door fully closed.
4) Apply sealant to all mating surfaces of the forward guide roller ramp, ramp channel, shims, and latch fitting. 5) Apply sealant to the fastener threads, shanks, and countersinks and install the parts.
6) Apply sealant to fully cover the nuts.
7) Remove unwanted sealant material from the face of the guide roller ramp with solvent, Series 92 (AMM 20-30-92) . 8) Fully close the door. 9) Measure the clearance between the guide roller ramp and
