D. Actuator-Pin Portal Latch Fitting Removal (Fittigns 1-8 L&R)

For the latch fittings 7L and 7R, Make a mark for the latch fitting location for installation.
(a)
Remove the latch fitting and actuator together as an assembly (AMM 52-31-05/401).
NOTE: The terminal fitting on the linear actuator interferes
____ with the removal of the latch actuators 7L & 7R. Therefore, the latch actuator and latch fitting must be removed together.

For all except the latch actuator 7L & 7R,
Remove the latch actuator (AMM 52-31-05/401).

Remove the latch indication switch (Ref 52-31-21/401).

Loosen nut and carefully remove the attachment bolts and fitting to avoid damage to the protective coating.

Remove the serrated plate and the switch bracket from the latch fitting for installation.

Fixed-Pin Portal Latch Fitting Removal (Fittings 9-10 L&R and 11)

(1) Make a location marks for the serrated plates between the latch fitting and the body structure for installation.
NOTE: If there is no location marks, it is difficult to correctly
____ install the serrated plates between the latch fiting and body structure. On the latch fittings 10L & 10R, there is no serrated plates between the latch fitting and body structure.
