5) Rotate hook drive approximately 10 turns counterclockwise. 6) Release door restraint manual release button and continue rotating hook drive until stop is contacted.
NOTE: Door should have moved outward approximately 3

inches when hook open stops are contacted.
Final manual rotation of hook may be difficult. Final hook rotation may be assisted by using lift actuator manually or electrically.
Unhook door (optional procedure).
1) Remove cover from hook actuator manual drive port.
CAUTION: DO NOT USE POWER TOOLS TO OPERATE HOOK ACTUATOR.
_______ USE OF POWER TOOLS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE BY EXCEEDING TORQUE LIMITATIONS. MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE TORQUE IS 70 POUND-INCHES. WHEN MANUALLY OPERATING POWER UNIT, STOP CONTACT IS FELT BY A SUDDEN TORQUE RISE WHICH IS NOT TO EXCEED 70 POUND-INCHES.
2) Insert 1/2-inch drive speed wrench in manual drive socket. 3) Depress door restraint manual release button and hold. 4) Rotate manual drive counterclockwise approximately 112
turns until stop is contacted. Release door restraint manual release button.
NOTE: Door should have moved outward approximately

Door restraint manual release button may be released after approximately 66 turns.
Open door. 1) Remove cover from lift actuator manual drive port above door hinge.

PROHIBITED BY INSTRUCTIONS ADJACENT TO MANUAL DRIVE
PORT. TORQUE LIMITING DEVICES COULD BE BYPASSED,
LEAVING POWER UNIT VULNERABLE TO DAMAGE. CHECK FOR
THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING POWER TOOLS.
IF POWER TOOLS ARE PERMITTED, TOOL SPEED MUST BE
LIMITED TO 500 RPM OR LESS, AND TORQUE MUST BE
LIMITED TO 70 POUND-INCHES OR LESS.
2) Insert a 1/2-inch drive speed wrench in manual drive socket and rotate counterclockwise to open door far enough to allow entrance into the cargo compartment.
3) Enter cargo compartment, open access cover to lift actuator mechanism and insert speed wrench in inside lift actuator manual drive port.
4) Carefully rotate the manual drive until the door lightly touches the upstops.
NOTE: You may not be able to subsequently close the
____ door manually if it hits the upstops heavily.
CAUTION: DO NOT OPERATE DOOR OR LEAVE OPEN IN WINDS EXCEEDING 65 KNOTS.
_______ STRUCTURAL DAMAGE COULD OCCUR.
DO NOT USE POWER TOOLS TO OPERATE ANY HOOK OR LATCH ACTUATOR.
DO NOT USE POWER TOOLS TO OPERATE LIFT ACTUATOR IF PROHIBITED BY INSTRUCTIONS ADJACENT TO MANUAL DRIVE PORT. TORQUE LIMITING DEVICES COULD BE BYPASSED, LEAVING POWER UNIT VULNERABLE TO DAMAGE. CHECK FOR THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING POWER TOOLS.
IF POWER TOOLS ARE PERMITTED, TOOL SPEED MUST BE LIMITED TO 500 RPM OR LESS AND TORQUE MUST BE LIMITED TO 70 POUND-INCHES OR LESS.

Close door manually.

Close door.
1) From inside the cargo compartment, insert 1/2-inch drive speed wrench in lift actuator manual drive socket.

2) Rotate speed wrench counterclockwise to lower door. Leave opening at bottom wide enough to allow exit from cargo compartment.
NOTE: The door may not close manually if it hit
____ the upstops heavily when it opened. If this occurs, do one of these steps:
-If possible use electrical power to close the door.
-Manually, lightly lift up on the bottom edge of the door. At the same time rotate the manual drive counterclockwise to close the door.
