1. General_______
A. This procedure contains a task to adjust the master latch lock handle.
B. You can use this procedure to check and adjust engagement of the master latch lock plunger when the master lock handle is closed.

(1)
Make sure the handle is in the closed position.
S 735-002
(2)
Make sure there is less than 0.03 inch between the contour of the trigger and the contour of the handle.

Do these steps if it is necessary to adjust the trigger:
(a)
Open the handle.
(b)
Add thin washers between the lockpin collar and the handle housing to move the trigger inboard (Fig. 501).
(c)
Remove thin washers between the lockpin collar and the handle housing to move the trigger outboard (Fig. 501).

Adjust the stop bolt (Fig. 501).
(a)
Close the handle.
(b)
Make sure the handle has between 0.10 and 0.15 inch of play in the closed direction.
(c)
Change the length of the stop bolt if it is necessary to set this dimension.

Adjust the lockpin (Fig. 501).
(a)
Put ink on the end of the lockpin.
