 b) Look for loose wires.

Examine the condition of the torque tubes as follows: 1) Look for corrosion. 2) Look for loose or missing fasteners. 3) Look for damage.

 (c)  
Examine the condition of the rotary actuators as follows: 1) Look for corrosion. 2) Look for damage. 3) Make sure the rotary actuators are attached securely to the

 airplane structure. 4) Make sure there is a clearance at the upstops.

 (d)  
Examine the condition of the lift links as follows: 1) Look for corrosion. 2) Look for damage. 3) Make sure you can turn the lift links by hand.

Close the door.

Install the access panel inboard of the door hinge.

 WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE AWAY FROM THE DOOR AND
_______ THE DOOR OPENING WHEN YOU OPERATE THE DOOR. FAILURE OF THE LIFT MECHANISM CAN CAUSE THE DOOR TO CLOSE QUICKLY WHICH CAN CAUSE INJURY OR DAMAGE.
 (1)  Open the side cargo door for access (Ref 52-32-00/001).
 NOTE: You can operate the door manually or electrically.

Do a check of the condition of the hinges.

 (a)  
Look for corrosion.

 (b)  
Look for loose or missing fasteners.

Look for corrosion in the lift power unit, the torque tubes and the rotary actuators.

 (b)  
See that the lift power unit is securely attached to the structure.

 (c)  
See that the torque tubes are securely attached to the lift power unit.

 (d)  
See that the torque tubes are securely attached to the rotary actuators.

 (e)  
See that the rotary actuators are securely attached to the structure.

 (f)  
See that the actuator links are securely attached to the rotary actuators and the door.

 (g)  
Look for loose or missing fasteners.

 8.  Cargo Door Wear Limits (Fig. 601)______________________
 A. General
 (1)  Wear on the inner surface of the shroud may occur if the pressure relief door stop fittings or stop bolts contact the shrouds. This condition is acceptable. It will not affect the pressure relief door operation or function of the shroud.
