Open and close door manually.
(a)
Manual operation of the door utilizes the same mechanisms as electrical operation, except that the normally electrically powered actuators are driven manually. Each actuator is driven manually until stops are contacted, then the next actuator in sequence is manually driven. Manual sequencing of mechanisms is the same as for electrical sequencing, as follows: 1) On door opening, the mechanism operating sequence is:
master latch lock, latch, hook, and lift. 2) On door closing, the mechanism operating sequence is: lift, hook, latch, and master latch lock.
WARNING: INSTALL SAFETY NET ACROSS DOOR OPENING IF DOOR IS TO BE LEFT OPEN
_______ LONG ENOUGH TO BECOME A SAFETY HAZARD TO PERSONNEL.
CAUTION: DO NOT OPERATE OR LEAVE DOOR OPEN IN WINDS EXCEEDING 65 KNOTS.
_______ STRUCTURAL DAMAGE MAY OCCUR.
B. Control
CAUTION:_______IN CASE THE DOOR DOES NOT OPEN, STOP IMMEDIATELY. DO NOT OPERATE THE DOOR CONTROL SWITCH. HOLDING THE DOOR CONTROL SWITCH MAY DAMAGE THE ACTUATOR. WAIT AT LEAST 1 MINUTE BEFORE SECOND ATTEMPT. IF THE DOOR STILL DOES NOT OPEN, WAIT AT LEAST 10 MINUTES BEFORE THIRD ATTEMPT.
(1) Open and close door electrically.
NOTE: The door can be locked or unlocked and opened or closed from
____ inside or outside the airplane, provided the retainer over the master latch lock internal handle is opened. However, the retainer can only be opened and closed from inside the airplane.

Connect electrical power.
(b)
Close circuit breakers as follows for side cargo door: 1) P415 Power Distribution Center - Right a) 415F17 SIDE CARGO DOOR CONT
2) P715 Aux/Ext No. 2 Power Center a) SIDE CARGO DOOR PWR
(c)
Check that POWER ON indicator lights are on.

WARNING:_______ MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE AWAY FROM THE
DOOR AND THE DOOR OPENING WHEN YOU OPERATE THE DOOR.
FAILURE OF THE LIFT MECHANISM COULD CAUSE THE DOOR TO
CLOSE QUICKLY WHICH COULD CAUSE INJURY OR DAMAGE.
CAUTION:_______IN CASE THE DOOR DOES NOT OPEN, STOP IMMEDIATELY. DO NOT OPERATE THE DOOR CONTROL SWITCH. HOLDING THE DOOR CONTROL SWITCH MAY DAMAGE THE ACTUATOR. WAIT AT LEAST 1 MINUTE BEFORE SECOND ATTEMPT. IF THE DOOR STILL DOES NOT OPEN, WAIT AT LEAST 10 MINUTES BEFORE THIRD ATTEMPT.
(d) Open door. 1) Unlock the door.
a) Open the master latch lock retainer from inside the airplane.
CAUTION: DO NOT OPERATE EXTERNAL HANDLE UNLESS RETAINER
_______ COVERING INTERNAL HANDLE IS OPEN, SINCE EXTERNAL HANDLE SHEAR PIN COULD BE SHEARED. RETAINER PREVENTS MOVEMENT OF INTERNAL HANDLE.
b) Depress internal or external master latch lock handle release trigger and allow handle to rotate to fully open position against open stop. (Exterior handle will rotate down; interior handle will rotate up.) Check that LATCHES CLOSED lights come on.
WARNING: INSTALL SAFETY NET IF DOOR IS TO BE LEFT OPEN LONG
_______ ENOUGH TO BECOME A SAFETY HAZARD TO PERSONNEL.
IN CASE THE DOOR DOES NOT OPEN, STOP IMMEDIATELY. DO NOT OPERATE THE DOOR CONTROL SWITCH. HOLDING THE DOOR CONTROL SWITCH MAY DAMAGE THE ACTUATOR. WAIT AT LEAST 1 MINUTE BEFORE SECOND ATTEMPT. IF DOOR STILL DOES NOT OPEN, WAIT AT LEAST 10 MINUTES BEFORE THIRD ATTEMPT.
2) Place and hold inside or outside door control switch in the OPEN position until door is fully up. Make sure the LATCHES CLOSED lights go off and the DOOR UP lights come on.
NOTE: Door motion can be stopped at any point by releasing
____ control switch to OFF. Motion can be reversed at any point by placing switch in CLOSE position.
