 (8)  Adjust the door warning switch as follows (Fig. 517):
 NOTE: Make sure the adjustment bolt was installed on the switch
____ actuator arm as shown on View H-H, Fig. 504. The head of the bolt must be smooth against the switch actuator arm.
 (a)  With the plunger of the switch free of the switch actuator arm, adjust the switch to get the dimension shown in Detail A.
 NOTE: This dimension includes a sufficient overtravel to
____ prevent false warning indication during venting of the pressure relief doors.

 (9)  
Adjust the door latched switch on the side cargo door (Fig. 517).

 (a)  
Move the switch in its bracket to get the dimension shown in VIEW A-A.

 (b)  
Use a torque wrench to turn the latch actuator clockwise.

 (c)  
Monitor the torque you use to turn the actuator.

 (d)  
Turn the actuator until the torque increases 15 to 20
 pound-inches.

 

 NOTE: The actuator hits the internal stops at this point.

 (e)  
Make sure you can push in the plunger of the door latched switch.

 (f)  
Manually turn the latch actuator 18 turns counterclockwise.

 (g)  
Make sure the plunger on the door latched switch does not touch the striker on the latch torque tube.

 (h)  
Disconnect the DX225E connector from the side cargo door equipment module.

 (i)  
Make sure there is continuity between pins 3 and 4 on the DX225E connector.

 (j)  
Manually turn the latch actuator 4 turns clockwise.

 (k)  
Move the door latched switch in its bracket to make it operate at this point.

 (l)  
Make sure there is no continuity between pins 3 and 4 of the DX225E connector when the switch operates.

 (m)  
Manually turn the latch actuator counterclockwise.

 (n)  
Monitor the torque you use to turn the latch actuator.

 (o)  
Continue to turn the latch actuator until the torque increases by 15-20 pound-inches.


 NOTE: This is the point where the actuator hits
____
 the internal stops.

 (p)  Connect the DX225E connector to the side cargo door equipment module.

 Close and latch the door.

 (11)
 Close the two ceiling panels that are inboard of the door.
