Make sure the safety barrier is installed across the door opening.

If you install the used components, make sure to do a check for the wear limits (Ref 52-31-09/601).

Supply electrical power (Ref 24-22-00/201).

Open the nose cargo door to get access to the push-pull cam mechanism.
NOTE: Push-pull cam actuator should be fully extended during
____ the removal and installation of the push-pull cam mechanism.

Open these circuit breakers and attach the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a)
On the Auxilary External 2 Power Center-Right panel P715: 1) NOSE CARGO DOOR
(b)
On the Power Distribution Center-Right panel P415: 1) 415F16, NOSE CARGO DOOR CONTROL
(c)
On the Nose Cargo Door Power panel H122: 1) DOOR LIFT 2) PULL UP CAM 3) LATCHES 1-4R 4) LATCHES 1-4L 5) LATCHES 5-8R

F. Cam Support Fitting Installation

Install the cam support fitting with shims and fillers.

Make sure to use the correct shim thickness.

Install the attachment bolts, nuts and washers.

Tighten nuts.

Push-Pull Cam Installation

(1)
Install the push-pull cam on the cam support fitting with bolt, washers and nut.

(2)
Tighten nut to 200-275 pound-inches.

Push-Pull Cam Actuator Installation

(1) Fully extend the push-pull cam actuator and install it on the support fitting and cam with bolts, washers and nuts.
NOTE: The push-pull cam actuator must be extended so that the cam
____ is in the open position after the actuator is installed.
I. Cam Roller Support Fitting Installation
