NOTE: BODY UNPRESSURIZED.
IF DOOR CANNOT BE FAIRED WITHIN SPECIFIED LIMITS, THE LIMITS
MAY BE EXCEEDED BY THE FOLLOWING AMOUNTS: UP TO 20% OF DOOR LEADING EDGE MAY BE RECESSED WITHIN BODY CONTOUR BY UP TO 0.02 INCH (0.51 mm) MORE THAN LIMIT SPECIFIED. UP TO 20% OF DOOR TRAILING EDGE MAY PROTRUDE OUTSIDE BODY CONTOUR BY UP TO 0.02 INCH (0.51 mm) MORE THAN LIMIT SPECIFIED.

WARNING:_______ MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE AWAY FROM THE
DOOR AND THE DOOR OPENING WHEN YOU OPERATE THE DOOR.
FAILURE OF THE LIFT MECHANISM COULD CAUSE THE DOOR TO
CLOSE QUICKLY WHICH COULD CAUSE INJURY OR DAMAGE.
CAUTION:_______IN CASE THE DOOR DOES NOT OPEN, STOP IMMMEDIATELY. DO NOT OPERATE THE DOOR CONTROL SWITCH. HOLDING THE DOOR CONTROL SWITCH MAY DAMAGE THE ACTUATOR. WAIT AT LEAST 1 MINUTE BEFORE SECOND ATTEMPT. IF THE DOOR STILL DOES NOT OPEN, WAIT AT LEAST 10 MINUTES BEFORE THIRD ATTEMPT.
(a)
Open the side cargo door for access to the master latch lock mechanism.
(b)
Close the latches.
NOTE: You must close the latches before you can close the
____ master latch lock handle for adjustment.
1) Remove the cover from the manual drive port of the latch actuator.
CAUTION: DO NOT USE POWER TOOLS TO OPERATE THE LATCH ACTUATOR.
_______ THE MAXIMUM PERMITTED TORQUE IS 70 POUND-INCHES. IF YOU USE MORE THAN 70 POUND-INCHES, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE LATCH ACTUATOR. WHEN YOU MANUALLY OPERATE THE POWER UNIT, THE INTERNAL STOPS ARE TOUCHED WHEN THE TORQUE INCREASES. MAKE SURE THE TORQUE IS NOT MORE THAN 70 POUND-INCHES.
2) Use a 1/2-inch drive speed wrench in the manual drive socket to turn the manual drive clockwise to latch the cargo door.
(c)
Disconnect the lower ends of the two pushrods of the pressure relief doors from the cranks on the torque tube of the pressure relief doors.
(d)
Close the pressure relief doors.
(e)
Make sure the flushness between the pressure relief doors and the fuselage skin is 0.03-inch.
(f)
Adjust the door closed stops on the two pressure relief doors if it is necessary (View A-A).

(g)
Put a clamp on the two pressure relief doors to keep the doors in the closed position.
(h)
Close and latch the master latch lock handle.
(i)
Make sure you can install the rig pin SCD-1 in the lower idler bellcrank of the handle mechanism (View B-B).
(j)
Adjust the handle mechanism upper and lower pushrods as it is necessary.
(k)
Keep the rig pin installed.
(l)
Make sure you can install the rig pin SCD-2 in the lower idler crank of the torque tube (View C-C).
