Make sure the lockpin makes an overlap of 0.21 +/-0.02 inch with the lockpin receptacle.
NOTE: Look at the ink on the lockpin to know the dimension

(e) Put washers between the lockpin receptacle and the handle housing if it is necessary to get the correct dimension.

Adjust the handle open position.
(a)
Open the handle.
(b)
Make sure the handle touches the handle stop (Fig 501).
(c)
Make sure the pressure relief doors open 5.95 +/-0.40 inch (Section A-A).
(d)
Add or remove rubber washers to the handle stop if it is necessary to get this dimension.

Examine the bushings in the external handle for holes and rough surfaces.

Replace the bushings if it is necessary.

Align the holes in the handle and driver assembly.
NOTE: Remove interior lining if access hole to shear pin is

Put the shear pin through the bushings.
