 Apply power supply voltage to the contact B2 of the relay socket DR1104.

 Slowly increase the voltage (on contact B2) to 65 volts DC and do these checks:

 (a)  
Make sure current flows through contact B2 between 45 to 57 volts.

 (b)  
Make sure the voltage on the voltmeter increases with the power supply voltage and remains constant after the current flows through contact B2.


 NOTE:  The current flow occurs through contact B2 when the voltmeter reads 45 to 57 volts DC. The voltage on contact B2 remains in this range even though the power supply voltage is increased more than 57 volts.

 1.  Nose Cargo Door System Quick Check (Fig. 601)__________________________________
 A. General
 (1)  
This procedure gives instructions to do a quick check to find the misrigging or deterioration in the rigging of the nose cargo door system. The procedure is not a complete system test. For a complete system test refer to AMM 52-31-00/501.

Standard Tools and Equipment

 (1)  
Spring Scale - Push-Pull type, 100-pound capacity

 (2)  
Torque Wrench (with dial indicator) - 0-100 pound-inches range

 (3)  
Speed handle or ratchet - 1/4-inch hex drive socket

Procedure


 S 866-002
 (1)  
Close the nose cargo door.

 (2)  
On the two linear actuators, make sure the end of actuator shaft covers the inspection hole 1/4 to 3/4 inch (Detail A, Fig. 601).

Do these steps if the ends of the actuator shafts are not in the correct positions:

 (a)  
Open the nose cargo door a minimum of 24 inches at the bottom.

 (b)  
Fully close the nose cargo door.

 (c)  
Make sure the ends of the actuator shafts are in the correct positions.

 (4)
If the ends of the actuator shafts are still not in the correct positions, adjust the linear actuators (AMM 52-31-00/501).

 (5)
Make sure the nose cargo door is fully closed and latched.
