POWER PLANT TRIM TABLES - DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION
___________________________________________________
 1.  General
_______
 A.  This procedure describes the trim table procedures given in 71-00-01/201, which is used to determine the correct operational target speeds at different power settings.
 B.  Different trim tables are used for each of the available CFM56-3 engines on the 737-300/400/500-series airplanes. These specific trim tables are included as configurations which are defined as follows:
 (1)
Configurations 1 through 4 are used for CFM56-3-B1 engines as installed on 737-300 and 737-500 airplanes.

 (2)
Configuration 5 is used for CFM56-3B-2 engines operating at 22,000 pounds thrust as installed on 737-300 and 737-400 airplanes

 (3)
Configuration 6 is used for CFM56-3C-1 engines operating at 23,500 pounds thrust as installed on 737-400 airplanes.

 (4)
Configuration 7 is used for CFM56-3C-1 engines operating at 22,000 pounds thrust as installed on 737-300 and 737-400 airplanes.

 (5)
Configuration 8 is used for CFM56-3C-1 engines operating at 20,000 pounds thrust as installed on 737-300, 737-400 and 737-500 airplanes.

 (6)
Configuration 9 is used for CFM56-3C-1 engines operating at 18,500 pounds thrust as installed on 737-500 airplanes.

 (7)
Configuration 10 is used for CFM56-3B-2 engines operating at 20,000 pounds thrust as installed on 737-300 airplanes.

 C.
Only the specific engine model/airplane configurations as applicable to each operator's fleet are provided. In addition, if an operator has intermix capability with a different engine type or thrust rating, those trim tables are also included.
