CAUTION: DO A CHECK OF THE COMPATIBILITY BETWEEN THE AIRPLANE AND ENGINE
_______ AS FOLLOWS BEFORE YOU DO THE POWER PLANT INSTALLATION PROCEDURE. IF THE AIRPLANE AND ENGINE ARE NOT COMPATIBLE, DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR.
(1) Do the steps below to make sure the configurations of the airplane and the engine are equivalent:
NOTE: To do a check for the compatibility of the engine and the
____ airplane, you must look at these areas:
-AVM system compatibility
-
Engine/Strut electrical connections
-
Engine/Strut vibration isolators
-Pneumatic control logic and W1508 wire bundle
-Engine/strut interference compatibility
-Fuel control box compatibility
-Engine fire protection system
(a) AVM system compatibility requirements.
1) Do a check of the compatibility between the engine turbine rear frame (TRF) vibration sensor (mounted on the TRF flange at the 11:30 o'clock position) and the airplane AVM signal conditioner (located in the main E/E rack on the E1-2 shelf) with this table:
