Put the Airplane Back To Its Usual Condition

b) If it is necessary, install one or two shims between the top of the fuel control box and the support bracket.
c) Attach the cable support bracket to the top of the fuel control box with the two bolts (1) and washers (2).
NOTE: If the two shims are installed, make sure you
____ use 45/64|1/64 inch (17.8|0.40 mm) length bolts.
1. Tighten the bolts with your hand only.
_ d) Attach the clamp link to the shutoff lever with the bolt (8), washer (7) and nut (3).
1. Make sure the boltheads are inboard and the nuts
_ are outboard. e) Tighten the two bolts (1) and washers (2) that attach the cable support bracket to the fuel control box. f) Install a lockwire to the two bolts for the cable support bracket and to the locknut on the cable.
3) ENGINES WITH A FUEL SHUTOFF CABLE WITH AN ADJUSTABLE CLEVIS END; Do these steps: a) Remove the two bolts (1) and washers (2) from the top
of the fuel control box. b) Attach the cable support bracket to the top of the fuel control box with the two bolts (1) and washers (2).
1. Tighten the bolts with your hand only.

c) Attach the fuel shutoff cable clevis to the fuel shutoff lever with the bolt (8), washer (7), and nut (3).

For a NAS6703U8 Bolt,
_ you can put the bolt on either side.
2.
For a NAS6703U9 Bolt,
_ make sure the bolthead faces outboard and the nut faces inboard.

d) Tighten the two bolts (1) that attach the cable support bracket to the top of the fuel control box.
1. Install a lockwire.

(b) Connect the throttle control cable as follows (Fig. 406): 1) Remove the two bolts that attach the quick-disconnect clamp (1) above the fuel control box. 2) Move the power lever on the fuel control box until you can
see the throttle control cable. 3) Move the two control cables sideways to connect the cable. 4) Attach the quick-disconnect clamp (1) to the throttle
control cable above the fuel control box. a) Install a lockwire to the screws.
(c) Temporarily attach the fuel control box cover (6) to the fuel control box with the bolts (5) and washers (4).
NOTE: After you install the engine, you must do the travel
____ test for the engine control system. For this test, the fuel control box cover must be removed.

(8) Attach the throttle control and fuel shutoff cables to the five flip-loc clamps on the engine.
NOTE: The five "flip-loc" clamps are found between the fuel
____ control box and the strut and attach the throttle control and fuel shutoff cables to the engine.

(9) Make sure all hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic connections are tight.
