 these redline conditions:

-N1 is more than 109% (5,641 rpm), or
 -N2 is more than 106% (15,335 rpm).
 (a)  Make sure the tachometer system operates correctly before you remove an engine for an an overspeed indication (AMM 77-12-00/501).

 E.
Overtemperature Limits

 S 842-044-C00
 (1)  Engine overtemperature limits at different engine operation
conditions is given in Fig. 204.

 (a)  If the EGT is more than the limits, this is an
 overtemperature condition.

 S 842-045-C00
 (2)
During engine operation, overtemperature conditions can be
anticipated by a fast increase in fuel flow, high rpm and/or
temperature that are more than the limits.

 S 842-046-C00

 (3)
When an overtemperature condition is anticipated or has occurred,
the engine should be cooled and shut down using normal shutdown
 procedures.

 S 842-047-C00

 (4)
You must avoid emergency shutdown unless it is obvious that
continued operation will result in additional engine damage.

 S 842-048-C00

 (5)
You must make a record of the duration and magnitude of all engine
 overtemperature conditions.

 (a)  The corrective action and/or the inspection requirements depend on the temperature and the length of time at that temperature.

 F.
Leakage Limits

 S 842-049-C00
 (1)
The permitted leakage from the engine vents and drains during static and operating conditions, with the corrective action, is given in the Engine Vents and Drains - Inspection/Check (AMM 71-71-00/601).

 G.
Ignition Ground Use Limits

 S 842-050-C00
 (1)  The ignition must remain off during all maintenance engine runs,
after the engine is started, to minimize the possibility of
overtemperature if there is a compressor stall.

H.  Vibration Guidelines
 S 822-164-C00
 (1)
If the momentary vibration level is greater than 4 units but less than 1 minute in duration:

 (a)
No maintenance action is necessary, but only if the vibration indication is not associated with the aircraft vibration felt by the flight crew and the indication did not repeat during the flight or during subsequent flights.

 S 822-165-C00
 (2)
If the vibration level is equal to or less than 4 units, use the AVM flight history to determine the source of the vibration.

 (a)
If the source of the AVM indication is fan vibration:

 1)  If engine noise or vibration is felt in the cabin or flightdeck during climb or cruise conditions and the AVM indications are due to fan vibration: a) No maintenance action is necessary. It is recommended
that you do a fan trim balance (AMM 71-00-01/201). 2) If the vibration level is equal to or less than 3 units:
 a)  No maintenance action is necessary. You can reduce the vibration levels if you do a fan trim balance (AMM 71-00-01/201).
 3)  If the vibration level is more than 3 units: a) It is recommended that you do a fan trim balance (AMM 71-00-01/201).
 (b)  If the source of the AVM indication is core vibration: 1) If the vibration level is equal to or less than 3 units: a) No maintenance action is necessary. 2) If the vibration level is more than 3 units:
 a)  It is recommended that you do the High Vibration Indication Trouble Shooting procedure within 25 cycles (AMM 71-00-47/101).
 b)  If you do not find the source of the vibration, do a vibration survey (AMM 71-00-00/501) and contact CFMI for confirmation of the correct vibration levels.
