Make sure the motor speed is 24 to 28% N2 rpm.
1) Make sure there is N1 rotation and positive oil pressure indication.
(d)
Continue to motor the engine within the starter operation limits.
(e)
Do the necessary checks.
(f)
Turn the ENGINE START switch to the OFF position to stop the engine motoring.
(g)
On the pilots' center instrument panel, P2, make sure the applicable START VALVE OPEN light goes out.

Do the Wet Motor Procedure.

THE ENGINE FOR THE NECESSARY TEST. DRY MOTOR THE ENGINE.
(1) Wet motor the engine.
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THE IGNITION CIRCUIT BREAKERS ARE OPEN.

INADVERTENT LIGHTUP COULD OCCUR.
(a)
For Engine No. 1, open these circuit breakers and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag. 1) On the load control panel, P6:
a) ENG NO.1 LEFT IGNITION
b) ENG NO.1 RIGHT IGNITION

For Engine No. 2, open these circuit breakers and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag. 1) On the load control panel, P6:
a) ENG NO.2 LEFT IGNITION
b) ENG NO.2 RIGHT IGNITION
(c)
Put the FUEL PUMPS FWD and AFT switches for tank numbered same as engine to be motored to ON. 1) Make sure the two applicable LOW PRESSURE lights go out.
CAUTION:_______DO NOT OPERATE THE STARTER OPERATING LIMITATIONS. DAMAGE TO THE STARTER COULD OCCUR.
(d)
Turn the applicable ENGINE START switch to the GRD position (Fig. 208).

(e) When N2 rpm reaches 15% minimum, move the start lever to the IDLE position. 1) Motor the engine for 15 seconds maximum or until you can
see fuel vapor at the tailpipe.
2) The FUEL VALVE CLOSED light on the pilots' overhead panel (P5) will come on bright (valve in transit) and then goes out (valve open).
3) Make sure there is positive oil pressure, fuel flow indication, and N1 rotation.
(f)
Do the necessary checks.
(g)
Move the start lever to the CUTOFF position.
(h)
Make sure the FUEL VALVE CLOSED light on the fuel control panel (P5) comes on bright (valve in transit) and then goes dim (valve closed).
(i)
Continue to motor the engine for 60 seconds minimum to purge the engine of the residual fuel.
(j)
Make sure the fuel flow indication decreases to zero.
(k)
Turn the ENGINE START switch to the OFF position.
(l)
Make sure the applicable START VALVE OPEN light on the pilots' center instrument panel, P2 goes out.
F. Put the Airplane Back to the Usual Condition.

For Engine No.1, remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these
circuit breakers.
