Power Plant Removal - Bootstrap Method

Install the Bootstrap Equipment
3) Use the ball lock pins to connect the attach links (in the extended position) to the cradle.
NOTE: You may have to adjust the attitude of the
____ cradle assembly to get the correct alignment with the engine.
4) At four locations, attach the fan frame attach rod to the fan case attach point.
(b) Do these steps to attach the turbine frame to the cradle (Fig. 416): 1) Attach the turbine frame attach link to the turbine frame
attach point with a ball lock pin and a cotter pin. a) Use a pin and a cotter pin.
