Prepare For the Removal of the Power Plant

Engine Core Disconnects on the Right Side
4) Disconnect the pneumatic overtemperature sense hose from the tee fitting on the right side of the PRSOV.
CAUTION: MAKE SURE YOU INSTALL CAPS ON THE SENSE HOSE AND
_______ PORT. IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE CAPS, CONTAMINATION CAN OCCUR.
5) Install caps on the sense hose and the PRSOV port.
(d)
ENGINES WITHOUT THE QUARTER TURN CLAMP; Remove the nut (6) and washer (5) and clamp (4) that attach the fire extinquishing hose to the fan air duct.
(e)
ENGINES WITH THE QUARTER TURN CLAMP; Turn the quarter-turn fastener to release the fire extinquishing hose from the fan air duct.

Prepare to disconnect the PRSOV from the left side as follows (Fig. 405):
(a)
Make a mark that shows the valve position for the installation.
