Prepare For the Removal of the Power Plant

Fan Case Disconnects on the Left Side
(c) ENGINES WITH A FUEL SHUTOFF CABLE WITHOUT AN ADJUSTABLE CLEVIS END; Disconnect the fuel shutoff cable as follows (Fig. 407): 1) Remove the bolt (8), the washer (7), and nut (3) that
attach the fuel shutoff cable clamp links to the fuel shutoff lever.
NOTE: Do not disconnect the bolt, washer and nut at
____ the top location that attach the clamp links to the fuel shutoff cable.
2) Disconnect the cable clamp links from the fuel shutoff lever. 3) Temporarily install the bolt (8), washer (7), and nut (3) on the fuel shutoff cable clamp links. 4) Remove the two bolts (1) and washers (2) that attach the cable support bracket to the top of the fuel control box. 5) Remove the shim(s), if installed, and keep them for the installation procedure. 6) Temporarily install the bolts (1) and washers (2) on the top of the fuel control box.
NOTE: Do not install the cable support bracket to
____
the fuel control box.
(d) ENGINES WITH A FUEL SHUTOFF CABLE WITH AN ADJUSTABLE CLEVIS END; Disconnect the fuel shutoff cable as follows (Fig. 407): 1) Remove the bolt (8), washer (7), and nut (3) that attach
the fuel shutoff cable clevis end to the fuel shutoff
lever. 2) Disconnect the clevis end from the fuel shutoff lever. 3) Temporarily install the bolt (8), washer (7), and nut (3)
on the fuel shutoff cable clevis end. 4) Remove the two bolts (1) and washers (2) that attach the cable support bracket to the top of the fuel control box. 5) Temporarily install the bolts (1) and washers (2) on the top of the fuel control box.
NOTE: Do not install the cable support bracket to
____
the fuel control box.
(e) Temporarily install the fuel control box cover (6) with the two bolts (5) and washers (4).

Fan Case Disconnects on the Left Side
(f) Loosen the five screws that attach the push-pull cables to the "flip-loc" clamps on the engine.
NOTE: The five "flip-loc" clamps are found between the
____ fuel control box and the strut and attach the throttle control and the fuel shutoff cables to the engine.
(g)
Open the clamps and release the cables from the clamps.
(h)
Attach the two cables to the strut to keep them away from engine.
