FALLS TO THE GROUND AND IS INGESTED INTO THE ENGINE.
1) Make sure the locking mechanism of the part power rig pin operates correctly. a) Clean the ball lock pins if it is necessary.
WARNING: IF YOU OPERATE THE ENGINE DURING THE INSTALLATION OF
_______ THE PART POWER RIG PIN, OBEY THE HAZARD AREAS IN THE ENGINE (NORMAL) OPERATION PROCEDURE (AMM 71-00-00/201). IF YOU GO INTO THE HAZARD AREA, INJURIES CAN OCCUR.
CAUTION:_______REMOVE THE RIG PIN BEFORE YOU OPEN THE COWL. YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE PIN, COWL, OR FUEL CONTROL BOX.
2) Put the part power rig pin through the part power rig pin hole in the left fan cowl panel (Fig. 508).
NOTE: The rig pin hole aligns with the hole marked 'P'
____ at the fuel control box (the position agrees with the 92.5° PLA).
CAUTION: SUPPLY THE PNEUMATIC POWER, DURING THE IDLE SPEED
_______ CHECK. THIS WILL PERMIT YOU TO MOTOR THE ENGINE, IF IT IS NECESSARY.
KEEP THE PRESSURE ON THE "A" AND "B" HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS. THIS WILL MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE FULL CONTROL OF THE NOSE GEAR STEERING AND THE MAIN WHEEL BRAKES.
3) Do the engine start (normal) operation (AMM 71-00-00/201).

TEST NO. 6 - MAIN ENGINE CONTROL (MEC) TRIM
___________________________________________ 4) Let the engine become stable at the low idle for a minimum of one minute. 5) Make sure that all of the bleed air and electrical loads are off. 6) Make sure that the engine instrumentation indications are in the operation ranges.
7) On the pilots' aft overhead panel, P5, push the applicable PMC switch off. a) Make sure that the PMC INOP light comes on.
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE SUFFICIENT BRAKES AND THAT
_______ THE EXHAUST (JET BLAST) IS NOT DANGEROUS. THIS WILL PREVENT INJURIES TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT.
8) Move the forward thrust lever against the part power stop (92.5° PLA). 9) Let the engine become stable for a minimum of one minute. a) Make sure that the %N2 rpm is in the limits for the current OAT and barometric pressure. b) Look at the PART POWER (P-P) PMC OFF Trim Data (AMM 71-00-01/201).
NOTE: Make sure that the MEC power trim is
____ +0.5/-0.5 %N2 of the %N2 trim target.
10) If it is necessary, adjust the MEC power trim as follows:
