Make sure the main landing gear wheels are chocked.
(2)
Make sure the nose wheels are chocked.
(3)
Make sure the ground locks for the landing gear are installed.

Supply the electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

For each engine you will motor, do these steps:
(a)
Remove the engine inlet cover and engine exhaust cover, if it is installed.
(b)
Examine the ground area around the engine for unwanted
materials.
(c)
Examine the inlet, the fan and turbine exhaust ducts, the wing leading edge immediately above the engine for unwanted materials and objects.
(d)
Do a check for the amount of oil in the engine oil tank.
1) Do the procedure to service the engine oil tank if it is necessary (AMM 12-13-11/301).
(e)
Do a check for the amount of oil in the engine driven generator. 1) Do the procedure to service the engine driven generator if
it is necessary (AMM 12-13-21/301).
(f)
Open the fan cowl panels if it is necessary for the test (AMM 71-11-02/201).
WARNING: IF YOU WILL OPEN THE INBOARD THRUST REVERSERS, DO THESE
_______ STEPS IN THIS SEQUENCE: RETRACT THE LEADING EDGE AND TRAILING EDGE AND DO THE DEACTIVATION PROCEDURE. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THE STEPS ABOVE, INJURIES TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR.
(g)
Do this procedure: Leading Edge Flaps and Slats Hydraulic Systems A, B, and Standby Depressurization (AMM 27-81-00/201).
(h)
Open the thrust reverser if it is necessary for the test (AMM 78-31-00/201).
(i)
Make sure the forward thrust lever is in idle position at the aft stop in the control stand.
(j)
Make sure the the reverse thrust lever is in the forward and
down position.
(k)
Make sure the start lever is in CUTOFF position (Fig. 209).
(l)
On the pilots' aft electronics panel (P8),
make sure the fire switches are fully in.

Put the parking brake to the ON position.
