 (1)  Connect the PRSOV downstream sense line to the PRSOV as follows (Fig. 405):
 NOTE: Connect this sense line before you install the PRSOV.
____ The access to this PRSOV port is easier if the PRSOV is not installed.
 (a)  
Apply antiseize compound to the threads on the union.

 (b)  
Connect the PRSOV downstream sense line to the union on the left side of the PRSOV.

 (2)  Attach the PRSOV to the engine between the precooler and the 5th-stage duct as follows:
 (a)  
Lift the PRSOV until it is between the duct and the precooler.

 (b)  
Loosely install the duct couplings (1).


 NOTE: It may be necessary to loosen couplings on the
____ 5th-stage duct forward of the valve to get clearance between the PRSOV and the precooler for engine installation.
 (c)  
Turn the PRSOV to the correct position that you marked in the removal procedure.

 (d)  
Make a check of the clearance between the engine flange and the PRSOV as follows: 1) ENGINES WITHOUT THE VIBRATION ISOLATORS FOR THE FORWARD


 MOUNT/THRUST REVERSER HINGES;
 The minimum clearance is 1.3-1.7 inch (33.0-43.2 mm).

 2)  ENGINES WITH THE VIBRATION ISOLATORS FOR THE FORWARD MOUNT/THRUST REVERSER HINGES; The minimum clearance is 0.9-1.3 inch (22.9-33.0 mm).
 (e)  Tighten the duct couplings to 95-110 pound-inches (10.7-12.4 Newton meters).

Do these steps to attach the fire extinquishing hose and the pneumatic overtemperature sense hose to the engine (Fig. 404):

 (a)  
ENGINES WITHOUT THE QUARTER TURN CLAMP; Install the fire extinquishing hose to the fan air duct with the clamp (4), washer (5) and nut (6)
