 (d)  Install the P6 T-fitting as follows: 1) Find the P6 port on the MEC. 2) Disconnect the first coupling where the metal tube connects
with the flexible hose. 3) Install the P6 T-fitting in the P6 line. a) Tighten the coupling nuts to 135-150 pound-inches (15-17 N.m).
 4)  Install the line from the P6 T-fitting to the port identified P6 on the gage assembly. a) Tighten the coupling nuts to 135-150 pound-inches
 (15-17 N.m).
 (e)  Install the P7 T-fitting as follows:
 1) Find the P7 port on the MEC.
 2) Disconnect the coupling from the nipple.
 3) Install the P7 T-fitting in the P7 line.

 a)  Tighten the coupling nuts to 135-150 pound-inches (15-17 N.m).
 4)  Install the line from the P7 T-fitting to the port identified P7 on the gage assembly. a) Tighten the coupling nuts to 135-150 pound-inches

 (3)
Do the T2/CIT Sensor Test

 (a)
Get and write down the ambient air temperature in the shade of the airplane.

 (b)
Start and operate the engine (AMM 71-00-00/201) at low idle.

WARNING: OBEY THE GROUND SAFETY PRECAUTIONS IN AMM 71-00-00/201.
_______ IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THE INSTRUCTIONS, INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT COULD OCCUR.
 (c)
Read the gages on the Sensor Tester and make a record.

 (d)
Stop the engine (AMM 71-00-00/201).

 (e)
Use the T2/CIT Sensor Limits (Table 501) and do a check of the sensors. 1) Find the correct sensor limits for the air temperature. 2) Compare the gage values with the correct limits.

TEST NO. 11 - T2/CIT SENSOR TEST
________________________________
 3)  If the CIT sensor is out of the limits, replace the CIT sensor (AMM 73-21-02/401).
NOTE: If you examine the CIT sensor as part of slow
____ engine acceleration trounbleshooting, and your results are in the upper limit on the table, a CIT sensor replacement could make engine acceleration time better.
 4) If the T2 sensor is out of the limits, replace the T2 sensor (AMM 73-21-09/401). 5) If the sensors are in the limits, continue with this procedure.

 (4)
Remove the FIT/CIT Sensor Tester as follows:

 (a)
Remove the P7 T-fitting from the P7 line as follows: 1) Disconnect the P7 line between the T-fitting and gages. 2) Remove the T-fitting from the P7 line and MEC. 3) Install the P7 line to the P7 nipple on the MEC.

 a)  Tighten the coupling nuts to 135-150 pound-inches (15-17 N.m).

 (b)
Remove the P6 T-fitting from the P6 line as follwos: 1) Disconnect the P6 line between the T-fitting and gages. 2) Remove the T-fitting from the P6 line and MEC. 3) Install the flexible P6 hose to the metal P6 tube.

 a)  Tighten the coupling nuts to 135-150 pound-inches (15-17 N.m).

 (c)
Remove the PB T-fitting from the PB line as follows: 1) Disconnect the PB line between the T-fitting and gages. 2) Remove the T-fitting from the PB line and MEC. 3) Install the flexible PB line to the PB metal tube.

 a)  Tighten the coupling nuts to 135-150 pound-inches (15-17 N.m).

 (d)
Remove the Sensor Tester from the engine.

 (5)
Do an Idle Leak Check (AMM 71-00-00/501, Test No. 3).
