Put the Airplane Back To Its Usual Condition

 (1)  AIRPLANES WITH A POTABLE WATER ENGINE PRESSURIZATION SYSTEM; Connect the flexible potable water pressurization line on the left (No. 1) engine (Fig. 410).
 NOTE: If the potable water pressurization tube is not installed on
____ the replacement engine, remove the flexible line and install a plug (BACC14AD04J or equivalent) in the No. 1 strut opening. Maximum water pressure will not be available in some conditions.
 (a)  
Remove the reducer (1) from the flexible potable water pressurization line attached to the strut.

 (b)  
Remove the cap from the reducer.

 (c)  
Remove the plug from the top end of the potable water pressurization tube connected to the high stage regulator.

 (d)  
Install the reducer (1) on the top end of the potable water pressurization tube.

 (e)  
Connect the flexible potable water pressurization line to the reducer (1).

 (2)  
IF THE ENGINE HAS THE POTABLE WATER PRESSURIZATION SYSTEM, BUT THE AIRPLANE DOES NOT; Make sure the system on the replacement engine is sealed.

 (a)  Install a cap on the potable water pressurization tube on the right side of the engine below the TAI valve.

 (3)  
Connect the right strut drain line (Fig. 410).

 (4)
Connect the electrical connectors (D404 and D406) (Fig. 410).

 (1)  
If the engine preservation procedure has been done, do the engine depreservation procedure (AMM 71-00-03/201).

 (2)  
Do the tests that follow:


 NOTE: These tests do not include an engine run and can be done
____
 inside or outside a hangar.

 (a)  
Do a check of the specific gravity setting and adjust if it is necessary (AMM 71-00-00/501 Test No. 6, MEC Trim).

 (b)  
Do the test for the engine control system rigging (AMM 76-11-00/501).

 (c)  
Do the autothrottle BITE rig check (AMM 22-31-11/501).

 (d)  
Do the system test for the oil quantity indicating system (AMM 79-31-00/501).

 (3)  
Connect the opening actuators for the thrust reverser as follows (Fig. 402):

 (a)  
Disconnect the lower end of the opening actuators from the thrust reverser.

 (b)  
With the return valve on the hand pump closed, extend the actuator until you can connect the cylinder end of the actuator to the engine fan case.

 (c)  
Use the hand pump to open the thrust reverser and remove the load from the hold-open rods.

 (4)  
ENGINES WITHOUT THE VIBRATION ISOLATORS FOR THE FORWARD MOUNT/ THRUST REVERSER HINGES; Remove the thrust reverser hold-open rods as follows (Fig. 401):

 (a)  
Remove the ball lock pin that attaches the hold-open rod to the strut compression beam and thrust reverser compression pad fitting.

 (b)  
Remove the cap screws and washers that attach the fitting to the thrust reverser compression pad.

 (c)  
Install the cap screws and washers on the hold-open rods.
