A. General
CAUTION: THE ENGINE MUST BE PRESERVED PER CHAPTER AMM 71-00-03/201 TO
_______ PREVENT INTERNAL PARTS CORROSION OR FAILURES.
(1)
You must do these tasks to put the power plant back to its usual condition:
(a)
Core Area Connections on the Left Side
(b)
Core Area Connections on the Right Side
(c)
Fan Case Connections on the Left Side.
(d)
Fan Case Connections on the Right Side.
(e)
Put the Airplane Back To Its Usual Condition.

Equipment
(1)
ENGINES WITHOUT THE VIBRATION ISOLATORS FOR THE
FORWARD MOUNT/THRUST REVERSER HINGES;
Thrust Reverser Hold-Open Rods - C78001-13
(2)
ENGINES WITH THE VIBRATION ISOLATORS FOR THE
FORWARD MOUNT/THRUST REVERSER HINGES;
Thrust Reverser Hold-Open Rods - C78012-14
NOTE: C78012-14 replaces C78012-1.

(3) Part Power Rig Pin - C76001-1 or -2,
or equivalent 0.248 (+0.000/-0.003) inch [6.30
(+0.000/-0.076) mm] diameter, 2.5 inch (64 mm)
minimum long rod or bolt with warning streamer
attached
NOTE: Part power rig pin C76001-1 or C76001-2,
____ as applicable, is found in a fly-away kit located in electronics compartment (kit is attached to forward outboard leg of battery support).
(4) Electrical Connector Wrench - C71009
NOTE: Electrical connector wrench is only
____ required on engines with electrical connector (D1204) at strut firewall.
