ELEVATOR FEEL UNIT - INSPECTION/CHECK

1. General_______
A. This procedure has one task. The task is an inspection of the elevator feel unit.
B. In this procedure you measure the inner or outer diameter of the parts that attach the elevator feel unit to its control rod assembly. The parts include bearings, bolts, cranks and clevis fittings.

Measure the parts, which connect the control rod of the elevator feel unit, for worn areas:
(a)
Remove the parts.
(b)
Use a micrometer or a vernier caliper to measure the parts.
(c)
Compare the dimensions you measured with the permitted dimensions shown in Fig. 601.
