_______ THE ELEVATOR SURFACES BEFORE YOU MOVE THE STABILIZER. THE STABILIZER AND THE ELEVATOR SURFACES CAN MOVE QUICKLY AND CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Use the STAB TRIM ALTN switches on the control stand to set the stabilizer and the elevators to the neutral position.

transmitter:

Disconnect the bonding jumper from the transmitter.

Remove the transmitter assembly:
(a)
Remove the nut, the washer, and the screw that attach the control rod to the crank.
(b)
Remove two screws, washers, and nuts that attach the bracket to the airplane structure.
(c)
Remove the transmitter, the bracket and the crank assembly from the airplane.
