Prepare for Removal
(1)
Apply external power to the AC buses (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Set all FLT CONTROL HYD POWER TAIL switches on the P461 Pilots' Overhead Maintenance Panel in SHUTOFF.
(3)
Set the STAB TRIM 2 and 3 switches on the control stand to CUTOUT.

1) 7E7, L STAB TRIM S/O VLV
2) 7E20, R STAB TRIM S/O VLV

Manually move the elevator to the full up position.

Outboard elevator reaction hinge - panel 336DB left, 346DB right.

Remove the Reaction Hinge
(1)
Use a spanner wrench to remove the bolt assembly (9) (Fig. 402).

Remove the four bolts (14) and two bolts (15) which attach the reaction hinge to the stabilizer hinge rib (Fig. 402).

Disengage the hinge fitting (10) from the elevator actuator lug and remove it from the airplane.
