OUTBOARD ELEVATOR - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. There are two outboard elevators, one on each side of the airplane. The outboard elevator is attached to the rear spar of the horizontal stabilizer by six hinge points. They are controlled by the control column, and moved by a power control package (PCP).
B. There are two tasks in this procedure. There is one task for the removal and one task for the installation of the outboard elevator. The procedure has these parts:

The preparation for the removal of the outboard elevator
(2)
The removal of the outboard elevator
(3)
The installation of the replacement outboard elevator
