Drain the unwanted fluid from the hydraulic standpipe assemblies.
(a)
Remove the cap.
(b)
Drain the unwanted fluid into a container.
(c)
Replace the cap.

(3) S 862-007Do this task to pressurize the hydraulic systems No. 2 and 3: "Supply Hydraulic Power" (Ref 29-11-00/201).
(4) S 792-008Examine the standpipe assembly for hydraulic leaks.
(5) S 682-009Drain the unwanted fluid again for other standpipe assembly.
(6) S 862-012Do this task: "Remove Hydraulic Power" (Ref 29-11-00/201).
(7) S 432-010Close the access door 312A (Ref 06-09-05/201).

A. There are three tasks in this procedure. There is one task each for the operational test, the adjustment, and the system test of the elevator control system. The procedure has these parts:

The operational test of the elevator control system

The adjustment of the elevator control system

The system test of the elevator control system.

2. Operational Test - Elevator Control System

A. General
(1)
This task is an operational test of the elevator control system. To do this test, you will operate the elevator control system. During the test, it is necessary to monitor the EICAS to examine the movements of the elevator.

Set all the FLT CONTROL HYD POWER TAIL switches on the P461 Pilots' Overhead Maintenance Panel to SHUTOFF.

Do a test of the hydraulic supply shutoff valves:
(a)
Make sure the valve indicator lights for systems No. 1, 2, 3, and 4 are on.
WARNING: MOVE ALL PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT AWAY FROM THE ELEVATORS
_______ BEFORE YOU MOVE THE CONTROL COLUMN. THE ELEVATORS CAN MOVE QUICKLY AND CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
