3) Set the dial indicator to zero while you apply the force. 4) Slowly release the 15 pounds force.
CAUTION: USE SUFFICIENT PADDING ON THE THE FORCE SCALE TO

5) Apply a down force of 10 +/- 2 pounds at about 11 inches from the elevator trailing edge and at a point on the elevator rib opposite the pressurized PCA being tested.
NOTE: For padding, you can use a wood block of

5 X 5 X 0.25 inch.
6) Slowly release the 10 +/- 2 pounds force.
7) Make sure the dial indicator reading is not greater that
0.15 inches. 8) Remove the dial indicator.Remove the rigging pin E-2.

Do the High Column Feel Force Check:
(a)
Set the horizontal stabilizer to a B dimension of 7.37-7.47 inches.

(b)
Supply system No. 2 and 3 hydraulic power (AMM 29-11-00/201).
(c)
Install rig pin E1 in crank at the left end of the control column torque tube to make sure the column is in neutral position.
(d)
Make sure that you can install rig pin E2 at the base of the aft quadrant.
(e)
Make sure that control rod which connects the feel unit input crank to the aft quadrant is in the mid-adjustment position.
(f)
Disconnect all output rods from the aft quadrant.
1) Move the captain's or firt officer's control column from the center detent slowly to the 5/6 full aft position (approximately 10 degrees).
2) Make sure that the force to move the control column is approximately 4.0 pounds. 3) Release the control column.
(g) Re-connect the feel unit control rod to the aft quadrant. 1) Do this task: Elevator Feel Unit - Operational Test (AMM 27-31-17/201). 2) Depressurize system No. 2 and 3 hydraulic power
(AMM 29-11-00/201). 3) Depressurize auxiliary pitot systems No. 1 and 2. 4) Move the captain's or first officer's control column from
center detent slowly to the 5/6 full aft position (approximately 10 degrees). 5) Make sure that the force to move the control column is approximately 20 to 33 pounds. 6) Release the control column.
(h) Re-connect the left inboard PCU linkage to the aft quadrant.
