Hold the STAB TRIM ALTN switches on the control stand to APL NOSE UP. 1) Make sure the stabilizer position indicators on the control
stand move to APL NOSE UP. 2) Release the STAB TRIM ALTN switches.
(c)
Hold the STAB TRIM ALTN switches to APL NOSE DN. 1) Make sure the stabilizer position indicators move to APL
NOSE DN. 2) Release the STAB TRIM ALTN switches.
(d)
Set the STAB TRIM 2 switch to ON and the STAB TRIM 3 switch to CUTOUT.
(e)
Hold the STAB TRIM ALTN switches to APL NOSE UP. 1) Make sure the stabilizer trim position indicators move to
APL NOSE UP. 2) Release the STAB TRIM ALTN switches.
(f)
Hold the STAB TRIM ALTN switches to APL NOSE DN. 1) Make sure the stabilizer trim position indicators move to
APL NOSE DN. 2) Release the STAB TRIM ALTN switches.
(g)
Set the STAB TRIM 2 and 3 switches to AUTO.

WARNING:_______ MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF ALL CONTROL
SURFACES BEFORE YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. AILERONS, RUDDERS,
ELEVATORS, FLAPS, SPOILERS, LANDING GEAR, AND THRUST REVERSERS
CAN MOVE QUICKLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. THIS CAN
CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Do this task to pressurize the hydraulic systems No. 2 and No. 3: "Supply Hydraulic Power" (AMM 29-11-00/201).

Do this test of the manual/electric stabilizer trim switches:
(a)
Set the STAB TRIM 2 switch to ON and the STAB TRIM 3 switch to CUTOUT.
(b)
Hold the STAB TRIM switches on the captain's control wheel to NOSE UP. 1) Make sure the stabilizer position indicators on the control
stand move to APL NOSE UP. 2) Release the STAB TRIM switches.
(c)
Hold the STAB TRIM switches on the captain's control wheel to NOSE DN. 1) Make sure the stabilizer position indicators move to APL
NOSE DN. 2) Release the STAB TRIM switches.
(d)
Set the STAB TRIM 2 switch to CUTOUT and the STAB TRIM 3 switch to ON.
(e)
Hold the STAB TRIM switches on the first officer's control wheel to NOSE UP. 1) Make sure the stabilizer position indicators move to APL
NOSE UP. 2) Release the STAB TRIM switches.
(f)
Hold the STAB TRIM switches on the first officer's control wheel to NOSE DN. 1) Make sure the stabilizer position indicators move to APL
NOSE DN. 2) Release the STAB TRIM switches.
(g)
Set the STAB TRIM 2 and 3 switches to AUTO. 1) Make sure that there are no remaining messages.
