3. Operational Test - Stabilizer Trim Control System_________________________________________________
A. General
(1)
This task is an operational test of the stabilizer trim control system. During the test, it is necessary to monitor the stabilizer position indicators to make sure the stabilizer is free to move. Refer to AMM 22-22-00/501 for the operational test of autopilot functions. To do this test you must do the checks of these components:
(a)
The operational test of the alternate stabilizer trim switches is in paragraph 4.
(b)
The operational test of the manual/electric stabilizer trim switches is in paragraph 5.
(c)
The operational test of the elevator actuated cutout switches is in paragraph 6.
(d)
The operational test of the stabilizer trim cutout switches is in paragraph 7.
