Do a check on the outboard elevator travel and make sure these steps occur:
(a)
Move the control columns forward to stop and hold.
(b)
Make sure the distance between the inboard elevator trailing edge and the neutral index is 28.29-29.30 inches.
(c)
Make sure the difference between the inboard and outboard elevators trailing edges is 1.94-2.98 inches.
(d)
Move the control columns aft to stop and hold.
(e)
Make sure the distance between the inboard elevator trailing edge and the neutral index is 42.75-43.77 inches.

Release the control column and let it go back to the neutral position.
