Set the FLT CONTROL HYD POWER TAIL switches on the P461, Pilots' Overhead Maintenance Panel to NORM.

Set the STAB TRIM 2 and 3 switches on the control stand to AUTO.

 CAUTION: DO NOT PRESSURIZE THE AUXILIARY PITOT SYSTEM TO MORE THAN 4.70
_______ PSIG. MAKE SURE THE PRESSURE CHANGE IS LESS THAN 5000 FEET FOR EACH MINUTE FOR THE STATIC SYSTEM. ALSO MAKE SURE THAT THE PRESSURE CHANGE IS LESS THAN 300 KNOTS FOR EACH MINUTE FOR THE PITOT SYSTEM. THOSE ARE TO PREVENT THE DAMAGE TO THE ELEVATOR FEEL COMPUTER WHICH IS A VERY EASILY DAMAGED INSTRUMENT.
 (6)  Do this task to pressurize the auxiliary pitot systems 1 and 2 to
 4.70 psig: "Pitot Static System Pressurization" (AMM 34-11-00/201).

Open these access panels for the applicable transmitter:

 (a)  
334KBL, LO Elevator

 (b)  
334GBL, LI Elevator

 WARNING:_______ DO NOT MOVE THE ELEVATOR CONTROLS WHEN THE RIG PINS E-1 AND E-2
 ARE INSTALLED.  THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM IS PRESSURIZED AND WILL
 MOVE THE ELEVATORS IF YOU OPERATE THE ELEVATOR CONTROLS.  THIS

 CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (8)  
Install the rig pin EPS-1 through the crank and the inner rig pin hole of the bracket.

 (a)  
If you cannot install the rig pin EPS-1, adjust the transmitter control rod until you can install the rig pin.

 (b)  
Make sure the control rod adjustment is not more than the limits shown in Fig. 401. 1) If the control rod adjustment is more than the limits, turn


 the transmitter body in the bracket:
 a) Adjust the control rod to the center of its adjustment range. b) Loosen the transmitter clamping screws. c) Turn the transmitter body until you can install the rig
 pin EPS-1 through the crank and the outer rig pin hole. d) Tighten the transmitter clamping screws to 5-10 pound-inches.
 NOTE: Do not turn the transmitter body while you
____ tighten the screw.
 e) Remove the rig pin EPS-1 from the transmitter assembly. f) Adjust the control rod until you can install the rig pin EPS-1 through the crank and the inner rig pin hole.
 (c)  Install a lockwire on the thumb nut of the control rod.

Remove the rig pin EPS-1 from the transmitter assembly.

 Do this task to depressurize the auxiliary pitot static systems 1 and 2: "Pitot Static System Depressurization" (AMM 34-11-00/201).

 (11)
 Do this task: "Remove Hydraulic Power" (AMM 29-11-00/201).

 (12)
 Remove the rig pins E-1 and E-2.
