(a)
Set the FLT CONTROL HYD POWER TAIL switches No. 2 and 3 on the P461 Pilots' Overhead Maintenance Panel to NORM. 1) Make sure that these conditions occur:
a) The valve indicator lights for systems No. 2 and 3 are off. b) The valve indicator lights for systems No. 1 and 4 are on.
(b)
Move the control column full forward.
1) Make sure the ELEVATORS positions on the EICAS flight controls maintenance page show movement of the inboard elevators.

Set the FLT CONTROL HYD POWER TAIL switches No. 1 and 4 on the P461 Pilots' Overhead Maintenance Panel to NORM. 1) Make sure the valve indicator lights for systems No. 1 and
4 are off.
(c)
Move the control column full forward.
1) Make sure the ELEVATORS positions on the EICAS flight controls maintenance page show movement of the outboard elevators.
(d)
Move the control column full aft.
1) Make sure the ELEVATORS positions on the EICAS flight controls maintenance page show movement of the outboard elevators.

Set the FLT CONTROL HYD POWER TAIL switches No. 2 and 3 on the P461 Pilots' Overhead Maintenance Panel to NORM.
