NOTE:____Use this tool with shear deck fittings (Fig. 201). Use the tool only in an area that has no high winds.

CAUTION:_______ DO NOT REMOVE THE STABILIZER HINGE SUPPORT FITTING OR SECONDARY
SUPPORTS WHILE THE AIRPLANE IS SUPPORTED AT THE REAR JACKING
POINT. DAMAGE TO THE AIRPLANE MAY RESULT.

Loosen the adjustment screws (6) to move the stabilizer laterally.

Remove the support fitting of the stabilizer hinge (Fig. 203):
(a)
Remove the eight lateral bolts through the secondary supports.
(b)
Remove the support fitting (14) of the inboard hinge (Fig. 201):
NOTE: The support fitting (14) has the adjustment screw (6),
____ the bushing (4), and the nut (5).
1) Remove the 12 bolts that attach the support fitting (14) to the support frame.
2) Remove the support fitting (14).
3) If it is installed, keep the lockclip (13) attached by the middle two bolts.
(c) Remove the support fitting (17) of the outboard hinge: (Fig. 201):
NOTE: The support fitting (17) has the spacer (19), the
____ bushing (18), the nut (24), and the washer (25).
1) Remove the 12 bolts that attach the support fitting (17) to the support frame. 2) Remove the support fitting (17).

Remove the stabilizer hinge bearing (15) (Fig. 201):

Remove the adjustment screw (6).
