Install the Fuel Switch

CAUTION: MAKE SURE YOU ADJUST THE FUEL SWITCH AWAY FROM THE STABILIZER
_______ CAM WHEN YOU INSTALL THE SWITCH. AN INTERFERENCE BETWEEN THE FUEL SWITCH AND THE STABILIZER CAM CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE FUEL SWITCH WHEN YOU MOVE THE STABILIZER.
(1)
Install the fuel switch:
(a)
Install the fuel switch in the mounting bracket. 1) Install the locknut.
NOTE: Do not tighten the locknut.

(3) S 714-283Do this test of the fuel switch: (a) Use the STAB TRIM ALTN switches on the control stand to set the stabilizer at 5-7 units of trim. (b) Make sure the STAB POSITION light on the fueling control panel goes off. (c) Move the stabilizer to the neutral position (3 units of trim). (d) Make sure the STAB POSITION light comes on.
(4) S 014-050Close the access door 521CB (AMM 06-09-08/201).
