_______ SURFACES BEFORE YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. AILERONS, RUDDERS, ELEVATORS, FLAPS, SPOILERS, LANDING GEAR, AND THRUST REVERSERS CAN MOVE QUICKLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Do this task to pressurize the hydraulic systems No. 1 and 4: "Supply Hydraulic Power" (Ref 29-11-00/201).

Operate the control column through the full travel.

 (a)  
Make sure that the EICAS flight controls status page shows the elevators at the full travel position.

Put the Airplane to its Usual Condition

Close the access door 315A (Ref 06-09-05/201).

Install the ceiling panels.

If the hydraulic power is not necessary, do this task: "Remove Hydraulic Power" (Ref 29-11-00/201).

 INBOARD ELEVATOR POWER CONTROL PACKAGE - MAINTENANCE PRACTICES

 1.  General_______
 A.  There are six tasks in this procedure. There is one task each for the removal, the installation, the adjustment, and the operational test of the inboard elevator power control package (PCP). Also, there is one task each for the removal and the installation of the inboard elevator PCP filters. The procedure has these parts:
 (1)  
The preparation for the removal of the inboard elevator PCP

 (2)  
The removal of the inboard elevator PCP

 (3)  
The installation of the replacement PCP

 (4)  
The adjustment of the inboard elevator PCP

 (5)  
The operational test of the inboard elevator PCP

 (6)  
The removal of the inboard elevator PCP filter

 (7)  
The installation of the replacement filter

 (8)  
The operational test of the inboard elevator PCP filter.

 B.  
The removal and installation procedure is the same for the left or the right inboard elevator PCPs and their filters.
