Remove the Elevator Feel Computer

Disconnect electrical connector DB169C from the elevator feel computer (14).

(2)
Disconnect the pitot-static lines P1 and P2, and the hydraulic lines H1, H2, H3 from the elevator feel unit.
NOTE: If the hydraulic fluid is leaks from the hydraulic lines,

use a bucket to catch the hydraulic fluid.

Tag the pitot-static lines and the hydraulic lines.
S 032-010
(4)
Seal the pitot-static lines, hydraulic lines, and computer ports with caps.

(5)
Remove the elevator feel computer:
(a)
Remove the bolt (3) to disconnect the input rod (2) from the input arm (6).
(b)
Hold the elevator feel computer (14).
(c)
Remove the mounting bolts (1).

G. Install the Elevator Feel Computer
NOTE: Make sure there is a sufficient clearance between the coil spring

and the wire bundles.
S 432-013
(1)
Remove all caps and plugs installed on lines P1, P2, H1, H2, H3, and the elevator feel computer ports.

Install the elevator feel computer:
(a)
Apply skydrol assembly lube to the hydraulic fittings.
(b)
Set the elevator feel computer (14) on the bracket.
(c)
Align the pitot-static lines (P1 and P2), and the hydraulic lines (H1, H2, and H3) on the adapters. 1) Tighten the tubing nuts by hands.
(d)
Connect the pitot-static lines (P1 and P2) and the hydraulic lines (H1, H2, and H3) to ports on the elevator feel computer.
(e)
Install the mounting bolt (1), the washer (16), and the nut (17). 1) Tighten the nut (17).
(f)
Align the input arm (6) to the input rod (2).
(g)
Install the bolt (3), the washer (4), and the nut (5) to connect the input arm to the input rod. 1) Tighten the nut (5).
