Adjust the E2A and E2B cables if the tensions are more than +/-15 pounds from the specified value in graph II, Fig. 502.

 (m)  
Remove the rig pins E-1 and E-2.

 (n)  
Install the locking clips on all body cable turnbuckles.

 (o)  
Apply the corrosion preventive compound to the threads of the turnbuckles that show.

Reconnect the control rods (3 locations) between the autopilot servo modules and the aft quadrant.

Set the STAB TRIM 2 and 3 switches on the control stand to ON.

P180 DC Power Distribution Panel

 2) 180E22 ELEV/RUD VLV SYS 4
 3) 180H8 ELEV/RUD VLV SYS 1
 4) 180H23 ELEV/RUD VLV SYS 3

 Set all the FLT CONTROL HYD POWER TAIL switches on the P461 Pilots' Overhead Maintenance Panel to NORM.

Adjust the Inboard Elevator

_______ SURFACES BEFORE YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. AILERONS, RUDDERS, ELEVATORS, FLAPS, SPOILERS, LANDING GEAR, AND THRUST REVERSERS CAN MOVE QUICKLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (1)  
Do this task to pressurize the hydraulic systems No. 2 and No. 3: "Supply Hydraulic Power" (Ref 29-11-00/201).

Use the STAB TRIM ALTN switches on the control stand to set the stabilizer to the rig neutral position (Ref 27-41-00/201).

 (a)  
Make sure the stabilizer trim position indicators on the P8 control stand shows 3.00 units of trim.

 (b)  
Make sure the B dimension on the stabilizer jackscrew is


 7.42 +/- 0.05 inches.
