(1) FOR THE NEW ELECTRIC MOTOR (16); Install the identification plate (17) that you kept during the removal of the electric motor.

(2) Make sure the manual override lever is at position 2.

(3) Install the electric motor (16) on the shutoff valve (18):
(a) Put the electric motor (16) on the shutoff valve (18).
(b) Engage the output shaft slot of the electric motor with the cam input shaft of the shutoff valve.
(c) Install the screws (19): 1) Apply the corrosion preventive compound to the threads of the screws (19). 2) Tighten the screws (19). 3) Install a lockwire on the screws (19).

(4) Move the manual override lever to position 1.

(5) Connect the electrical connector DB188C or DB189C on the shutoff valve (18).

(6) Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:
(a) P7, Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
1) 7E6, STAB TRIM L CONT
2) 7E7, STAB TRIM L S/O VLV
3) 7E19, STAB TRIM R CONT
4) 7E20, STAB TRIM R S/O VLV

(7) Remove the DO-NOT-MOVE tags and set the STAB TRIM 2 and 3 switches to ON.

(8) Do this task: "Operational Test - Motor Operated Shutoff Valve" (Ref paragraph 11).

Do this task: "Supply Electrical Power" (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Set the STAB TRIM 2 and 3 switches to CUTOUT.

Decrease the remaining pressure in the hydraulic system:
(a)
Move the STAB TRIM ALTN switches to APL NOSE UP and APL NOSE DN three times.
(b)
Attach the DO-NOT-MOVE tags to the STAB TRIM ALTN switches on the control stand.

Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a)
P7, Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
1) 7E6, STAB TRIM L CONT
2) 7E7, STAB TRIM L S/O VLV
3) 7E19, STAB TRIM R CONT
4) 7E20, STAB TRIM R S/O VLV

If the electrical power is not necessary, do this task: "Remove Electrical Power" (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Open the access door 312A (AMM 06-09-05/201).
