WARNING: CAREFULLY INSTALL THE LEADING EDGE SLAT ACTUATOR LOCKOUT SET TO
_______ PREVENT ACCIDENTAL OPERATION OF THE LEADING EDGE SLATS. THE LEADING EDGE SLATS CAN MOVE QUICKLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Install the leading edge slat actuator lockout set on the actuators of the leading edge slats (Ref 27-81-00/201).

Remove the access panels.

Procedure

(1) Remove the seal door (Fig. 401):
CAUTION:_______BEND THE TORSION SPRINGS CAREFULLY. YOU CAN DAMAGE THE TORSION SPRINGS.
(a)
Hold the seal door while you remove the torsion springs from the seal door.
(b)
Move the straps off the seal door.
(c)
Move the seal door aft along the seal guide and spacer until it is clear.
(d)
Replace the seal door, springs, and straps if it is necessary.
