(b)
With the dummy weight installed, turn the torsion rod bolt (at the other end of the torsion rod opposite to the detent arm/torsion rod connection) until you get a clearance of 0.1 inch (2.54 mm) between the stop and the lower edge inside the slot of the detent arm.

slat ends, adjust as follows:
a) Remove up to 0.04 inch thickness from the laminated shims under the forward lower auxiliary track clevis to bring the slat ends to 0.00 to 0.06 inch tolerance.
