Move the hydraulic fitting to the new valve as necessary.

Install the valve:
(a)
Hold the valve in position to align the bolt holes.
(b)
Install the 3 bolts which attach the valve.

Remove the caps and plugs from the hydraulic lines and fitings.

Connect the hydraulic lines.

Connect the 2 electrical connectors to the valve.

C. Prepare for the Test

Move the No. 1 and No. 2 throttle levers to the aft stops.

Make sure that the trailing edge flaps and the leading edge flaps and slats are fully retracted.

Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Open these circuit breakers:
(a)
P6 Panel
1) PTU CONTROL VALVE
2) STBY HYD PUMP ALT
3) STBY HYD PUMP NORMAL

(5)
Push the RESET buttons on No. 1 and 2 autoslat computers.
(a)
Make sure that all lights on the 2 autoslat computers are off except the PWR lights.

Push the master caution RECALL button on the glareshield.

Make sure that the AUTOSLAT FAIL light stays off.

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF ALL CONTROL
_______ SURFACES BEFORE YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. AILERONS, RUDDERS, ELEVATORS, FLAPS, SLATS, SPOILERS, LANDING GEAR, AND THRUST REVERSERS CAN MOVE QUICKLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Supply system B hydraulic power (AMM 27-81-00/201).
