Push one of the two master caution annunciators (this does a master caution recall). 1) Make sure that the AUTOSLAT FAIL light is off.

Do a check of the indication with the stall management computers de-energized:

 (a)  
Open this circuit breaker:

 1)  P6 Panel
 a) AUTOSLAT NO. 1 DC


 (b)  
Push one of the master caution annunciators.

 1)  Make sure that the AUTOSLAT FAIL light, the FLT CONT light, and the two MASTER CAUTION lights are on.

 (c)  
Push one of the MASTER CAUTION lights.


 1)  Make sure that the AUTOSLAT FAIL light, the FLT CONT light, and the two MASTER CAUTION lights are off.

 (d)  
Open this circuit breaker:
 1) P6 Panel
 a) AUTOSLAT NO. 2 DC


 2)  Make sure that the AUTOSLAT FAIL light, the FLT CONT light, and the two MASTER CAUTION lights are on.

 (e)  
Push one of the MASTER CAUTION lights. 1) Make sure that the AUTOSLAT FAIL light stays on. 2) Make sure that the FLT CONT light and the two MASTER

 CAUTION lights are off.

 (f)  
Close this circuit breaker:
 1) P6 Panel
 a) AUTOSLAT NO. 1 DC


 2)  Make sure that the AUTOSLAT FAIL light, the FLT CONT light, and the two MASTER CAUTION lights are off.

 (g)  
Push one of the master caution annunciators.

 1)  Make sure that the AUTOSLAT FAIL light, the FLT CONT light, and the two MASTER CAUTION lights are on.

 (h)  
Push one of the MASTER CAUTION lights.

 1)  Make sure that the AUTOSLAT FAIL light, the FLT CONT light, and the two MASTER CAUTION lights are off.

 (i)  
Close this circuit breaker:


 1)  P6 Panel
 a) AUTOSLAT NO. 2 DC

 WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE AOA SENSORS ARE COOL BEFORE YOU TOUCH THEM.
_______ THE AOA SENSORS CAN BE SUFFICIENTLY HOT TO BURN YOU.
 (6)  Attach a test calibrator to each AOA sensor if the calibrators are not already attached.
 NOTE: Alternatively, the stall management computer (SMC) can be
____ used to display the AOA sensor angle. The test calibrator is not neccessary if the angle measurement is taken from the SMC.

Turn the left and right AOA sensors to 8 |1 degrees.

 (9)  
Set the HYD PUMP B ELEC 1 switch (P5 panel) to ON if it is not already set to ON.

 Move the flap control lever to the 1-unit position.

 (a)  
Make sure that the LE slats move to the (intermediate) extend position.

 Do a check of the operation of stall management computer No. 1:

 (a)  
Close this circuit breaker:
