P6 Panel
 1) PTU CONTROL VALVE
 2) STBY HYD PUMP ALT
 3) STBY HYD PUMP NORMAL

P18 Panel
 1) LEFT ALPHA VANE HEATER
 2) RIGHT ALPHA VANE HEATER

Push the MASTER CAUTION RESET button on the P7 panel.

Make sure that the ANTISKID switch on the P2 panel is closed.

Test Procedure

 (1)  
Push the RESET button on each ASC.

 (a)  
Make sure that the PWR OK light on each ASC comes on.

 (b)  
Make sure that all lights on each ASC except the PWR OK light are off.

 WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE AOA SENSORS ARE COOL BEFORE YOU TOUCH THEM.

 THE AOA SENSORS CAN BE SUFFICIENTLY HOT TO BURN YOU.

 (2)  
Open this circuit breaker:

 (a)  
P6 Panel
 1) LANDING GEAR AIR/GND RELAY & LIGHTS


 (b)  
Turn the left AOA sensor to 0 degrees.

 (3)
Turn the right AOA sensor counterclockwise to its lower stop.

 NOTE: AIRPLANES WITH ONE ASC P/N 65-52818-5 AND ONE ASC P/N -14;
____ One ALPHA COMPARE light on the 65-52818-14 ASC will come on. The ALPHA COMPARE HI light will come on if the 65-52818-14 ASC is installed in the No. 1 position or the ALPHA COMPARE LO light will come on if the 65-52818-14 ASC is installed in the No. 2 position.

Set the WHEEL SELECT dial on the antiskid control unit to LO.

Do a check of the dynamic alpha compare by the autoslat computers:

 (a)  
Push and hold the LW and SKID buttons on the antiskid control unit for five seconds.

 (b)  
AIRPLANES WITH ASC P/N 65-52818-5; Make sure that the ALPHA COMPARE HI light on ASC 1 and the ALPHA COMPARE LO light on ASC 2 come on.

 (c)  
AIRPLANES WITH ASC P/N 65-52818-14; Make sure that the ALPHA COMPARE HI light on ASC 1 and the ALPHA COMPARE LO light on ASC 2 stay on.

 (d)  
AIRPLANES WITH ONE ASC P/N 65-52818-5 AND ONE ASC P/N -14; If the 65-52818-14 ASC is installed in the No. 1 position, make sure that the ALPHA COMPARE HI light on ASC 1 stays on and the ALPHA COMPARE LO light on ASC 2 comes on. If the 65-52818-14 ASC is installed in the No. 2 position, make sure that the ALPHA COMPARE HI light on ASC 1 comes on and the ALPHA COMPARE LO light on ASC 2 stays on.
