Make sure that the rig pin F-1 moves freely in the flap control unit.

If the rig pin F-1 does not move freely, adjust the trailing edge flap system (AMM 27-51-00/501).

Make sure the valve slide and the index surface of the control valve align to a limit of |0.010 inch (Fig. 502).

Adjust the leading edge link if it is necessary: 1) Remove the lockwire. 2) Loosen the checknut. 3) Remove the rod end bolt at the cam follower arm. 4) Turn the rod end in 1/2-turn increments to adjust the
leading edge link.
5) Install the rod end bolt.
6) Make sure the valve slide and the index surface align to a
limit of |0.010 inch.
7) Install the washer and locknut.
8) Tighten the checknut.
9) Install the lockwire.
10) Make sure the thread on the rod end is not out of
tolerance.

(1)
Pressurize the hydraulic system B (AMM 27-81-00/201).
